About the Speaker
Mohamad Abdul-Hak is the Engineering Manager for High voltage Systems at Mercedes Benz Research & Development North America, Inc. His responsibilities include the research and development of Electrified Vehicles’ Power Electronics. He has earned a Bachelor, Master and Doctorate in Electrical Engineering from Wayne State University, University of Michigan and University of Detroit Mercy respectively. He has been working in the automotive industry for more than 20 years. He is a co-chair of the vehicle wireless charging committee at the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). He is an active member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) where he previously held a Vice President role for the Michigan chapter. He is an active member of the Board of Advisors for Wayne County Community College and Wayne State University.
